Lecture at Parallel School: On learning

What kind of movement is learning? How is it connected with theory? Why is it important to move in order to avoid entropy?
The learning process is an oscillatory movement that is intrinsically connected with the original meaning of the word „theoria“: the experience of journeying abroad and returning.
In this lecture we will draw a flow chart that we will use as a tool to approach the processes of learning, practicing theory, transmission and exchange of knowledge and experiences, the phenomenon of cross-pollination, the mission of education, the double condition of being detached and engaged, crossing boundaries and mixing oneself with the world, positioning oneself from a critical distance, the embodiment of otherness…
